ALISON MAERKER GARNER— Transformational coach, music educator and violinist—is the creator and author of Musical Minds. The three pillars of Musical Minds-Self, SPARCK-represent a role in the process of being in the world as a student, musician or teacher. The Musical Minds curriculum supports a child’s innate approach to music beginning with poetry, song, story, chant, art, and movement, progressing through to the many ways of knowing music or “musiking.” As a coach certified in NLP, Somatic Attachment, PVT, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Ms. Garner supports and inspires musicians and teachers to nurture their own growth in their art and as human beings. Her performance as a violinist in SalonMuse and Transformance Art reflects her commitment to the healing power of the inter-related arts experience.
